You will be responsible for testing and verifying the functionality of our game, designing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting issues, and working with developers to resolve these issues. You will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for gaming, and collaborating with development and design teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
The Role
- Design, implement, and execute test plans for Planet-X on mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document bugs and glitches, and track issues to resolution.
- Develop and maintain automated testing scripts and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance the overall quality of the game.
- Perform regression testing and ensure compatibility across multiple devices and operating systems.
- Work with the development team to reproduce and debug issues found during testing.
- Document test results and communicate them to the team in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to QA testing methodologies.
Your Profile
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in QA testing in the gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
- Experience with mobile game testing on iOS and Android platforms.
- A good working knowledge of test management software, programming languages, and testing methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Passion for mobile gaming and a desire to create high-quality, engaging games.
