About planet-x payout
Before you begin
• You must be eligible for Instagram payouts and meet our Partner Monetisation Policies and Content Monetisation Policies.
• You must have a payout account to receive your payment. If you don't add a payout account:
• Within five months or if you exceed earnings of $500 per monetisation tool or $1,500 across tools, you'll no longer be able to monetise on Planet-X.
• Within six months, you'll forfeit and waive all rights to receive your payment.
To add or manage your Planet-X payout settings, tap Payouts in the professional dashboard. Learn how to add a payout account on Planet-X.
About invoices and remittances
• Invoices are issued as a record of all earnings in a given month. All creators will receive an invoice regardless of how much was earned.
• A remittance confirms that your payment is issued and deposited to your selected payment method after earning the minimum amount for your product.
Both invoices and remittances are sent as a PDF to the email address on record for your account. You can also view and download all invoices and remittances from the past 2-3 months in your Payout settings in the professional dashboard.
When you will be paid
With most monetisation products, you will be paid once you've earned at least USD 100. For charities, this threshold is either USD 100, GBP 100 or EUR 100. Planet-X will pay you in USD and will be sent to the bank or PayPal account that you linked to your payout account. Any conversions to your local currency will be completed by your bank or PayPal account.
Depending on your bank, payments can take between one and seven working days.
Note: If you change your account's payout method ten days or fewer before the date of payment, you won't receive your earnings until the following month.
Payouts date
For most monetisation products, payouts are released around the 21st of every month for earnings made in the previous month. For example, earnings made in January will be paid out around 21st February.

Add a payout account on the Planet-X app
Before you can receive a payout, you must set up a payout account on Planet-X. When you earn money using our monetisation tools, you'll receive earnings to your payout account. You can manually enter your bank account details or link to a PayPal account, or sign in to your online bank account using your account credentials. • Have met the minimum earnings threshold for the product or bonus scheme.
Note: You must add a payout account to receive a bonus payout. If you don't add a payout account:
• Within five months or if you exceed earnings of USD 500, you'll no longer be able to monetise with bonuses.
• Within six months, you'll forfeit and waive all rights to receive your payment.
How to add payout account
To add a payout account in the professional dashboard:
1. Go to Payouts.
2. Select Update payout method.
3. Select the type of payout account you'd like to add to your professional account.
4. Follow the prompts to complete setup.
Note: You can have separate payout accounts for each monetisation tool. During setup, you can add your payment information later.
Note: You will need to enter your tax information to receive your earnings. To enter your payment information, go to the Monetisation and shops tab found in your Notifications. If you haven't added your payment details and have already met the minimum earnings for payout, you will receive an email alert from us and a notification on the Instagram app prompting you to add your payment details in the professional dashboard to receive your earnings.
How to edit a payout account
To edit a payout account in the professional dashboard:
1. Choose the monetisation tool that you want to edit your payout account for.
2. Select Payout account.
3. Select the type of payout account you'd like to add to your professional account.
4. Follow the prompts to complete set up.
Note: You can have separate payout accounts for each monetisation tool.
Update company name and tax ID number
If you're changing your tax ID number or company name because of a legal name change, please contact us.
After you've submitted your request, we'll follow up via email and your Support Inbox within 24 hours. Bear in mind that we may ask for additional information when you contact us, so make sure that you have any supporting documentation ready.
